I'm planning a small add-on that lets a 1–5 doctor clinic sell wellness plans, bill them monthly, and see which benefits have been used. I'm taking refundable pre-orders to find out whether clinics want it enough to build it.

The problem (my hypothesis)

I suspect that many independent clinics run wellness plans from a spreadsheet, or inside a practice-management system (PMS) that doesn't bill monthly. If that's true, it means:

• manual tracking of who is enrolled and what they've paid,
• missed or late payments that nobody chases,
• no clear view of which plan benefits each client has used.

This is something I'm testing, not a proven fact. If it doesn't match your clinic, this isn't for you.

What it will do

Planned, not built:

• Plan builder: create plans (for example puppy, adult, senior) with included services such as vaccines, exams and dentals.
• Branded enrollment link: pet owners sign up themselves.
• Monthly billing through Stripe by card.
• Benefits-used dashboard for your staff.
• Failed-payment and renewal tracking.
• Reminder emails sent automatically.

Honest limits of v1

• No PMS integration. Staff mark benefits as used with one click, or import a CSV.
• Card payments only.
• US clinics only.
• Pet-owner payments go through your clinic's own Stripe account.
• SMS reminders are possible later, not in v1.

Who it is for

Owners and practice managers of independent clinics with 1–5 doctors, especially those who find their current PMS awkward for recurring plan billing. It works beside whatever PMS you already use. It is not for large groups or corporate chains, and it won't be a good fit if you need a PMS integration on day one.

Founding offer and price

A factual comparison. baxtr's published pricing is $249 activation + 5% of client payments, per their public page as of {{BAXTR_CHECKED_DATE}}. Check their page for current terms. I make no other competitor claims, and this product doesn't exist yet, so features aren't comparable.

Pre-order terms

• The product is not built. The deposit is a pre-order.
• Deposit: $49, credited in full against your first invoices once the product is live.
• Pilot access is promised by {{DELIVERY_DATE}} (within 10 weeks of this test closing).
• If access isn't delivered by that date, your deposit is refunded automatically in full.
• You can ask for a full refund at any time before access by replying to your confirmation email. I'll refund within 2 business days.
• No contract.
• I will not process any pet-owner payment until your clinic has agreed to the final terms. I'm still confirming those details.

Not insurance

Wellness plans are preventive-care memberships, not insurance. Your clinic is responsible for following your state's rules on wellness plans. I'm not giving legal advice.
